Summary
The Electronic Engineer participates in the Company's Global Technical Talent Development Program, which prepares engineering professionals for long-term careers in the United States. The first year consists of structured on-the-job training in Jiangyin, China, where the employee will develop expertise in the Company's products, electronic engineering standards, manufacturing processes, and global operations. Upon successful completion of the training program and obtaining U.S. work authorization, the employee will relocate to the United States as a locally hired Electronic Engineer. The position is responsible for supporting OEM and ODM product development through hardware circuit design, schematic and PCB design, DFM review, product validation, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, manufacturable electronic products.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • OEM Projects Product Development

Execute OEM projects by providing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations based on customer requirements, conducting component qualification and verification, and preparing all production-related documentation required for manufacturing.

  • OEM Projects Product Development

Lead hardware development for ODM projects, including electronic product solution design, schematic capture, and PCB layout design, ensuring successful development and implementation of hardware circuits.                                                                                                                          

  • Testing & Validation

Conduct product testing and functional verification, analyze test results, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to improve product performance and reliability.                                                                                                         

  • Documentation

Prepare and maintain development specifications, technical documentation, engineering reports, engineering change records (ECR/ECO), and other related documents to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.                                                                  

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to support product integration, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful product development.                                                                                  

  • Problem Solving & Continuous Learning

Support production engineering and customer complaint investigations by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Continuously research and learn new electronic components, technologies, and industry trends to enhance product development capabilities.
