Job Description: 

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Enter and update financial data in accounting software with speed and accuracy
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Maintain and organize financial documents, files, and records
  • Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and billing
  • Assist with audits and other accounting projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English and Spanish
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Well known ERP system would be better.
  • Math skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills
  • Requires both speed and accuracy in performing data entry.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantages)

  • 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
