JOB DESCRIPTION
- Enter and update financial data in accounting software with speed and accuracy
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain and organize financial documents, files, and records
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and billing
- Assist with audits and other accounting projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or similar role
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English and Spanish
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint).
- Well known ERP system would be better.
- Math skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and negotiation skills
- Requires both speed and accuracy in performing data entry.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantages)
- 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Familiarity with ERP systems
